The race that stopped an agency.
Last Friday a team of tomorrow people were involved in Nova FM’s Amazing Race around Melbourne (while the rest of us did, you know, actual work). Like the TV show, the day consisted of completing a series of clues and tasks which took the team all over the city. Some of the stuff they got up to included busking on Southbank, eating spicy meatballs, Zumba dancing with Tom Williams, singing at Mushroom records, doing a stand up comedy gig with Ash Williams, pole dancing at Kittens strip club (which came surprisingly easy to one member of the group) and generally just having a good time. Now we aren’t entirely sure where we placed in the competition, but since Nova aren’t knocking down our door with a victory trophy, it’s safe to say that it wasn’t a resounding win. The team members are saying that it wasn’t really about winning, it was more about having fun. The rest of us just think that’s loser talk, but we’re too polite to say. Anyway, as you can see from the above image, the guys do look pretty happy with themselves (except Brett who looks like he’s about to go for Tom Williams’ jugular), so mission accomplished. Go team.
