Central Gardens is a master-planned community located in Springfield, Queensland. It was specifically designed to foster greater connectivity between family, community and the surrounding landscape. The brief was to create a timeless, flourishing brand that could be positioned as a future city for the area, as forecasts demonstrated that the semi-regional area was set to experience a population explosion in the near future.

Inspired by the arms of a growing Banyan tree, which are used as focal points in the development, the logo design uses natural lines to create a ‘C’ icon, reminiscent of the infinity symbol to represent future growth of the community. We then chose a colour palette inspired by the natural surrounds: forest and park greens, sunset orange, stone and golden sunlight. A light and warm photographic style complements these rich brand colours and the development’s lush, green environment. A true garden city of the future, that perfectly balanced nature and the urban landscape.
